Among America’s prominent Founding Fathers, John Adams was perhaps most under-rated. I think he deserves a lot more attention and recognition. Two main reasons:

  1. He had the most enduring vision for America, second only to Alexander Hamilton (Vision for America: Alexander Hamilton vs. Thomas Jefferson).
  2. He raised a great son in John Quincy Adams, our sixth President.

So, having listened to Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and Benjamin Franklin, let’s listen to John Adams, shall we?

1. Quote #1

The Declaration of Independence I always considered as a theatrical show. Jefferson ran away with all the stage effect of that… and all the glory of it.

He meant: Read: “All Men Are Created Equal,” Really?

2. Quote #2

The History of our Revolution will be one continued Lye from one End to the other.

He meant: Read: American History 2.0.

3. Quote #3

I must not write a word to you about politics, because you are a woman.

He meant: Read: “We the People,” Really?

4. Quote #4

Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.

He meant: Read: End of Democracy?

5. Quote #5

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

He meant: Significantly change the Constitution (by reading the image below) or do the impossible: significantly change the country, in terms of race and religion, at least!

6. Quote #6

Great is the guilt of an unnecessary war.

He meant: Three informative readings:

  1. 9/11 Attack vs. Pearl Harbor Attack.
  2. 9/11: Remembered in America, But Not Understood!
  3. The Evil Military-Industrial Complex.

7. Quote #7

While all other sciences have advanced, that of government is at a standstill – little better understood, little better practiced now than three or four thousand years ago.

He meant: Read: Towards an Ideal Form of Government.

8. Quote #8

When people talk of the freedom of writing, speaking or thinking I cannot choose but laugh. No such thing ever existed. No such thing now exists; but I hope it will exist. But it must be hundreds of years after you and I shall write and speak no more.

He meant: Read: Human Rights: Yet Another Big and Fat Western Lie!

9. Quote #9

I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy

He meant: This man has done it right: study engineering, become successful in business, and start writing on politics, in that order! For more, read: My American Dream Has Come True!

10. Quote #10

Liberty cannot be preserved without general knowledge among the people.

He meant: Please sit back and enjoy the long video below.
