Premarket 500 futures were up as high as 1404 and the 500 opened at 1407 and currently at 1409. The DOW also opened up and is currently at 13189. GLD is up smartly at 163.14, Gold is at 1680 and SLV at 31.71. WTI oil is at 106.90 while as high as 107.28, Brent is at 125, SPY is at 140.73 and SSO is at 58.35. The USD fell sharply from 70.90 to 79.25 in a matter of minutes as is currently at 79.30.
The European markets or mixed with the DAX up 1 point and the FTSE 100 down 0.02. The Asian markets closed up fractionally.
Not much to report on the daily financial’s so far. Chicago Fed national activity index comes in at -0.09 in February vs. 0.0 predicted, previous print was revised to 0.33 from 0.22. More at 10 am. And they could be market movers.
At this point traders, you are either in or sitting on the sidelines. The trend is still up but could change direction as Mr. Market chooses.
