Merry Christmas! It’s time to celebrate!
It’s time to reflect, too! At the age of 53, I have lived all over the world as follows (in sequence):
23 years in China.
3 years in Japan.
3 years in America.
3 years in Brussels (sometimes called “the capital of Europe”).
21 years in America.
What’s the point? I have lived more time in America (24 years) than in China (23 years), which makes me more American than Chinese, right?
Despite all the problems, America remains the best land on earth to “make it”, whether you are a native born or an immigrant. Yes, I consider myself a modern-day example of an American dream come true (My American Dream Has Come True).
Thank you, America!
