Econintersect:  Joe Meyers, CT Post (A Hearst Newspaper), wrote a review of Larry Doyle’s book which appeared Thursday 02 January 2014.  Meyers referred to the book as a “blistering account” of a conspiracy against “average Joes“.  The fact that Doyle was recruited by publisher Palgrave Macmillan to write this book because of his years of blogging about financial regulation is “an affirmation of the power of blogging and the Internet“, according to Meyers.

Larry Doyle has been writing about Wall Street corruption on his Sense of Cents blog for several years.  He is an occasional contributor to Global Economic Intersection.  He is a veteran of many years with five different major Wall Street firms and is now the head of his own investment company.

Meyers focuses his review of the nature of reforms that Doyle thinks are needed to end the corruption that still poisons the financial system, including breaking the Wall Street control of government which he sees tied to money buying influence in Washington.  The review also mentions the need to improve the “mind-numbing” paperwork that individual investors receive from financial services companies.
