Econintersect: Eight of eleven Asia/Pacific stock markets are trading in a narrow range Tuesday morning. However the other three, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo are making quite a fuss. Two are up more than 1% and one is down the same.HongKong has advanced 1.5% at mid-day and Shanghai is not far behind, up 1.3%. Tokyo is on the other end of the spectrum with a decline so far 0f 1.5% for the Nikkei 225 Index.
The only other markets with moves greater than +/-0.25% are Singapore (+0.5%) and Jakarta (-0.4%).
