Econintersect: Stockholm saw stocks rise 0.5% and Madrid was essentially flat (+.01%). The other eight major markets in Europe were down. Geneva lost 1% while Oslo, Paris and London each lost 0.6% to pace the losers.Other losses were 0.5% in Frankfurt, 0.3% in Brussels and0.2% in Vienna while Amsterdam was almost unchanged at -0.04%. Rising oil prices and a weak bind auction in Portugal weighed on the markets.
