The Great Deflector

A well known former Fed Chairman began a book tour today, promoting a new memoir. In his honor, I slightly rewrote the lyrics to this song, below.

The Great Deflector

Follow up:

Start music before singing the lyrics below the video.

Oh YES, I'm the great DEFLECTOR.

Deflecting blame, I'm doing that well
My need is such I deflect so much
I pretend I did it all well.

OH yes I'm the great deflector
Adrift in a world of my own
I've played the game
but to my real shame
I'm left to bleat all alone.

Too real is this feeling of make-believe
Too real when I feel what my lips can't conceal.

Yes, I'm the great deflector
I jive and I lie like a clown
I'm not you see, what I seem to be,
I'm wearing my lies like a crown.

Too real is this feeling of make-believe
Too real when I feel what my lies can't conceal

Yes, I'm the great deflector

I jive and I lie like a clown
I'm not you see, what I seem to be,
I'm wearing my lies like a crown.
