Which countries have the biggest appetite for meat across the world?
Among OECD countries, at least, Australia is in first place. Annually, an average Australian will consume 205 lbs (93 kg) of beef and veal, poultry, pork and sheep meat. Even though Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are famous for steak across the globe, they still trail the United States and Israel in meat consumption.
This chart shows annual meat consumption per capita worldwide in 2013.
