Econintersect: There were circuit breakers kicking in at about 8:31-32 am today (1 May 2012) as Gold dropped $15 an ounce in just a couple of seconds. The show was all over in about ten seconds and the entire drop was recovered in the next two hours or so. This is just another example of instabilities that can grab control of trading in this age of computer controlled transactions.
