Far East Stocks in Rally Mode Mid-Day Wednesday

Econintersect:  Shanghai (-0.05%) is just barely negative in mid-day trading Wednesday, March 30.  The other ten major stock markets in the far east are up strongly.  Tokyo leads the way with a gain of 2.4%, followed by Hong Kong, up 1.8%. Three other markets have advanced by 1% or more.

Follow up:

The other top markets are Singapore (+1.5%), Sydney (+1.3%) and Seoul (+1%).  Mumbai (Bombay) and Indonesia show gains of 0.9%, New Zealand 0.8% and Taiwan and Indonesia are up 0.6%.
