Econintersect: Rail traffic according to RailFax for w/e 08 January 2011 began the year strongly. Rail traffic, according to RailFax ended the year up 10.2% over 2009. According to AAR, the rail traffic was up 7.3% (news article here) in 2010.
YoY growth is up from 8.7% last week to 14.9% this week. Four week rolling average growth increased slightly from 11.4% to 12.3%.
