The Clinton-Silsby Trafficking Scandal And How The Media Attempted To Ignore/Cover It Up

Abstract:

Contrary to reports in the media, the crowd sourced investigation labeled by some as “Pizzagate” did not begin with internet sleuths digging through the Wikileaks Podesta Files releases looking for pizza parlors and encoded language discussing human trafficking. It began with the shocking discovery that Hillary and Bill Clinton provided assistance to convicted child trafficker, Laura Silsby, resulting in a reduced sentence for child trafficking.

Silsby was arrested at the Haitian border attempting to smuggle 33 children out of Haiti without documentation. Her sentence and charges were reduced after an intervention by Bill Clinton. In the aftermath of Silsby’s arrest, her originally retained lawyer Jorge Puello was arrested in connection with an international smuggling ring accused of trafficking women and minors from Central America and Haiti. The revelation of this news in November was either ignored by the Western media or attacked by Clinton controlled publications.

Trump Says Construction Of Wall With Mexico To Begin “In Months”

In a preview of his first one-on-one interview since being sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, President Trump told ABC that Mexico would be paying for the proposed border wall and that negotiations between the two nations would begin “relatively soon.”

Confirming what he has stated all along – and is likely included in his forthcoming executive orders, Trump remarks…

“Ultimately, it will come out of what’s happening with Mexico … and we will be in a form reimbursed by Mexico, which I’ve always said,” Trump said.

During the interview, which took place at the White House this morning, Trump said that Mexico would pay the U.S. back “100 percent.”

He confirmed that U.S. taxpayer dollars would be used to start the construction but said reimbursement would follow.

“All it is, is we’ll be reimbursed at a later date from whatever transaction we make from Mexico,” he said. “I’m just telling you there will be a payment. It will be in a form, perhaps a complicated form. What I’m doing is good for the United States. It’s also going to be good for Mexico. We want to have a very stable, very solid Mexico.”

When asked about the start of construction, Trump said it would happen in “months.”

“As soon as we can, as soon as we can physically do it,” he said. “I would say in months, yea. I would say in months — certainly planning is starting imm …

Some Sanity Regarding the Housing Market

Full archives at Trader Scott’s Market Blog.

Donald Trump hit the ground running after his Inauguration on Friday, when two hours into his Administration he suspended a plan by Barack Obama to slash premium rates on some federally backed mortgages. The plan would have lowered FHA premiums by a quarter point. It’s an interesting first step for a President who made his fortune in RE. Housing should be used for shelter, not for speculation. Rapidly rising house prices do not strengthen a nation, they weaken a nation. Capital needs to go into productive enterprises. Housing on a net basis is not productive at all. It sucks capital away from truly productive endeavors. But politicians love giving out “freebies”, and virtually everyone is convinced that a strong housing market is a sign of a strong nation. And politicians want to look like they have big hearts, and care about us all. So th …
