If you think about it, the U.S. is still a fairly new nation.
And while approximately only one-in-five people believe in ghosts, that hasn’t stopped a number of paranormal sightings to be reported throughout the country. You’ll notice that most are along the eastern coast. This is likely due to the early colonial settlers…think of all the skirmishes with the Native Americans, along with the Revolutionary War and the Civil War.
