Microsoft recently launched the Digital Civility Index to gauge how civil people in different countries are when they go online.
They looked at behaviour across several categories: behaviour, reputational, sexual and personal/intrusive. They found that the United Kingdom was the most civil nation on the internet while South Africa was the most uncivil. Read more on the indy100.
