The Irish National Lottery is giving less and less money to good causes.
According to the Oireachtas, the amount of cash given to the Exchequer by the National Lottery has fallen €72 million in eight years. Back in 2008, €265 million was given to good causes and by 2015, that had fallen to €141 million.
This chart shows the amount transferred from the National Lottery Fund to the Exchequer for good causes.
