Irish online news publication The Journal asked Statista to visualise some of the most important aspects of the annual yearbook published by the Irish Central Statistics Office.
There was actually a drop in most criminal offenses between 2013 and 2014. Last year, there were 30 homicide offences across the Irish republic while 282 police officers were assaulted. €698 million of drugs were seized while there were just under 16,000 controlled drug offences.
