Earlier this week, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook proudly announced that Apple Music currently has 6.5 million paying users.
While that is not so bad considering that the streaming service was only launched in late June, it’s probably still far from what Apple’s ultimate goal in the streaming market is. Spotify, the company that Apple set out to challenge, passed 20 million paid subscribers in June and is showing no signs of backing down.
