In 2030, the world’s 750 biggest cities will account for 61 percent of the planet’s GDP, approximately £52.5 trillion.
According to the Oxford Economics Global 2030 study, 9 of the world’s top cities in 2030 will be Chinese. New York-Newark-Jersey City will still lead the way though, contributing £573 billion to the global GDP that year.
