The average bonus for Wall Street bankers in 2013 grew to its highest level since the onset of the financial crisis in 2008, hitting $164,530.
Meanwhile, the cash bonus pool reached $26.7 billion. Interestingly, the bonuses went up even though the profits from broker-dealer operations from New York Stock Exchange member firms fell 30 percent.
