10Jul2015 Market Update: Averages Climb Higher On Hopes Everything Will Be O.K., But Don't Count On It

Markets opened higher AND stayed there while WTI oil fell and the U.S. dollar climbed fractionally. The averages were expected to open lower and didn't and after opening higher were expected to fall off and haven't. All of this on the 'Hopes' that the Chinese markets have solved their 'problems' and that Greece will now be happy ever after - SCARY.


Here is the current market situation from CNN Money

North and South American markets are broadly higher today with shares in Brazil leading the region. The Bovespa is up 1.68% while U.S.'s S&P 500 is up 1.11% and Mexico's IPC is up 0.57%.

If this economic problem wasn't so serious, it could be the plot of Scary Movie 6.
