Scott Adams, the author of Dilbert, explains how Donald Trump has brought the art of persuasion to a "genius level". Humans are emotional beings: "people are never rational and facts never convinded anybody of anything important", according to Adams.
Scott Adams is professed not to be a Trump supporter. His evaluation is based on analysis of the art of persuassion as it applies to the campaign of Donald Trump. Adams says that what Trump is doing is unprecedented in U.S. presidential history. According to Adams, the closest comparison is Ronald Reagan whose campaign presentations were crafted by Peggy Noonan and Paul Manafort (Trump's campaign manager). But, he says, one-on-one as individuals, Trump is hands down a better persuader than Reagan was.
