Two Wrongs Do Not Make A Right!

Written by

America is a very confused, conflicted country, from President Obama (Obama’s speech at the UN) all the way down to average citizens! For example, many Americans do not seem to understand “two wrongs do not make a right”. Let me give you five prominent examples as follows:

  1. President Obama vs. President George W. Bush
  2. Same-Sex Marriage vs. Kim Davis
  3. The Vietnam War vs. the Twenty-sixth Amendment
  4. Democratic Socialism vs. Democratic Imperialism
  5. Saddam Hussein vs. the Iraq War.

1. President Obama vs. President George W. Bush

President Obama has been a total disaster not only for America (See image below - Truth Bomb: Obama's Disastrous Economic Recovery in 9 Horrifying Charts), but also for the world (President Obama and War)!

But comparison to President Obama does not elevate George W. Bush from a bad President to a better one!

The truth: both Presidents Obama and George W. Bush have been total disasters not only for America, but also for the world, ranking them among the worst in history!

For more, read: American Presidency: Why is One-Term a Must (Version 3)?

2. Same-Sex Marriage vs. Kim Davis

Why do I think the Supreme Court's ruling on same-sex marriage was wrong? It causes massive confusion at least! For more, read: Same-Sex Marriage.

Kim Davis was wrong in refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples! Why? Mixing church and state is a violation of one of the most basic founding principles of our nation! She should have been fired for refusing to do her job! But instead, she not only keeps her job, but also has become an international hero, with recognition from Pope Francis (Kim Davis: Pope Invites Me, That’s The Fact)!

The mainstream media has actually got this one right. Two examples:

  1. The fight in Kentucky is about public duty - not personal belief.
  2. Some Martyr.

Now, it is time for Americans to know a bit more about Kim Davis! Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia - Kim Davis:

Davis has been married four times to three different men.[3][4] The first three marriages ended in divorce in 1994, 2006, and 2008. She is the mother of twins, who were born five months after her divorce from her first husband. Her third husband is the biological father of the twins, who were adopted by her second husband, Joe Davis, who is also her fourth and current husband;[35] he supports her stance against same-sex marriage.[34] One of Davis' twin sons, Nathan, works in her office as a deputy clerk and has taken the same position of denying marriage licenses to same-sex couples.[98]

Is a 3-time divorcee like Ms. Davis really the best person to defend the “traditional” marriage? Perhaps not!

Oh, Pope Francis was obviously wrong with this comment following his meeting with Ms. Davis: Pope Francis: Government Workers Have Right to Refuse Gay Marriage Licenses!

The whole story shows two things:

  1. Our Founding Fathers were absolutely right in separating church and state!
  2. Different interest groups will try to seek domination by all means, including mixing church and state whenever and wherever possible, recklessly sometimes!

3. Vietnam War vs. the 26th Amendment

Why was the Vietnam War wrong? Ask former Presidents Bill Clinton or George W. Bush!

Why is the Twenty-sixth Amendment wrong? Look at the image below!

For more, read: Repealing the Twenty-Six Amendment!

4. Democratic Socialism vs. Democratic Imperialism

America is being destroyed by both Democratic Socialism from the left and Democratic Imperialism from the right!

In other words, just because the left spends excessively on social programs, it does not give the right free rein to spend excessively on "defense"! Our military budget is bigger than the next 10 biggest spending countries combined! Why is that? It's the MIC (Military-Industrial Complex), stupid! For more, watch the video below.

5. Saddam Hussein vs. the Iraq War

Saddam Hussein was an evil person and a bad dictator. But the Iraq War to throw him out of power was worse not only for Iraq, but also for the world (Europe-Grapples with Worst Refugee Crisis Since WWII)!

Furthermore, the following two wrongs largely explain the mess in Iraq today:

  1. President George W. Bush broke the jar by launching the Iraq War on March 20, 2003 (Colin Powell: “If you break it, you own it”)!
  2. President Obama failed to hold the broken jar by withdrawing all American troops from Iraq by December 2011!

In short, America created ISIS! Unfortunately, many Republican voters do not understand it, while many college kids do! For more, watch this short video:

6. Discussion

Two wrongs do not make a right! Why is America so full of examples of it? Democracy, as we practice it today (Brainwashing in Communism and in Democracy)!

America's prosperity comes from her superb capitalism as well as her overwhelming abundance in natural resources! America was prosperous despite, not because of, democracy! America can no longer afford democracy, as we practice it today, because democracy is destroying the engine of America’s success: capitalism!

For more, read: Democracy: to be or not to be?

7. Closing

Two wrongs do not make a right!
