Another Open Letter to Mitt Romney

Dear Governor Romney,

How was your lunch with President Obama yesterday?

As a staunch supporter of your campaign (e.g. Top-10 American Misconceptions about Mitt Romney), I was disappointed at the election result. But was I surprised by it? No, not at all! As a matter of fact, in my open letter to Mitt Romney dated 5/18/2012, not only did I predict this outcome, I also spelled out a guaranteed path to success for you. Unfortunately, you did not listen ...

How could I have guaranteed such a success for you? Two reasons:

Follow up:

  1. I believe I have the most accurate diagnosis for America, as well as the best solution.

  2. I believe Americans will buy my diagnosis and solution if enough people will listen, especially after an endorsement by a Presidential candidate, who is willing to put his support behind it for the sake of America.

Anyway, the 2012 election is over. President Obama won, which means America will continue her slide down to hell. How come?

Domestically, it's simple: Most of the "blue" states that President Obama won happen to be the most fiscally troubled states (e.g. California and Illinois). They will be in bankruptcy soon, like many European countries (e.g. Greece and Spain), dragging down America with them!

Internationally, let's see two perspectives from two former communist countries: Czech Republic and Hungary.

A perspective from Czech ... This is hot off the Internet: "Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way that you can quickly understand them. This quote came from the Cazch Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. It was translated into English from an article in the Prague newspaper Prager Zeitungon."

The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.

I understand the source of this story is being questioned now, as many things on the Internet, but you get the point, I am sure.

A perspective from Hungary ... Read this: Hungarian-born Billionaire makes anti-socialism case in TV ad. Now, watch this.

Sad, isn't it? Yet, more than 47% of Americans do not know, or care!

Here is a quote: "A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one-percent of the people may take away the rigths of the other forty-nine."

Who said it? Thomas Jefferson!

Is America finished? No, not yet, but very close! Let's do our best to save it! Specifically, how about endorsing my diagnosis and solution for America?

I thank you very much for your attempt to save our country and look forward to your reply!

Best Regards,

Frank Li, Ph.D.
