According to Forbes, the world’s 20 most valuable soccer teams are worth an average of $1.16 billion.
That’s 84 percent higher than five years ago. Real Madrid are in first place, worth $3.26 billion, primarily due to $746 million in revenue, the most of any sports team in the world. Fellow La Liga heavyweights Barcelona are in second position, valued at $3.16 billion. Rounding off the top three are Manchester United at $3.1 billion.
