Econintersect: Our daily feature, What We Read Today (WWRT), has a short public section and a longer premium content section (‘behind the wall’). This weekend there are three posts of WWRT which will be completely public. Saturday (27 September) and Sunday (28th) will be repostings of two issues from the current week with a limited amount of new material. Monday 29 September WWRT will be 100% new material and also 100% free. Please take advantage of this special opportunity.
This is being done in an effort to show those who haven’t considered supporting GEI with a $25 subscription to the ‘behind the wall’ premium content a chance to review what they are missing. The content now is typically 10-15 articles of interest for which we provide short summary discussions. We recently added a second section ‘behind the wall’ which is a list of article links for things that we have found worthwhile reading but have not provided any summary discussion.
We appeal to our readers for a subscription to show a modest level of support for all the work we do each day here at GEI. We are trying to provide a broad spectrum of economic, finance and political economy analysis, news and opinion. If we are successful our readers will feel they have gotten a balanced education from a variety of economic “schools” and all political persuasions.
Just think. At $25 a year you are supporting GEI by spending less than 7 cents (U.S.) a day.

The third special issue will be posted overnight (WWRT for 29 September). The two previously posted articles are 28 September and 27 September.
