According to data released by ComScore and reported in the Wall Street Journal, the next iPhone will have big upgrade potential.

Follow up:

Unsurprisingly, owners of older iPhones are most likely to buy the new model. 46 percent of iPhone 3G/3GS and 43 percent of iPhone 4 owners plan to exchange their handsets for a newer version. When it comes to newer iPhones, 15 and 24 percent of iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S users are planning to upgrade.
