According to a study carried out by VisionMobile, app development in the United Kingdom is set for a period of steady growth.
The study estimated that the UK app industry was worth around £2.9 billion in 2013 and this is expected to grow 33% to £7.1 billion by 2016. Britain has quickly become a European leader in mobile apps and the industry’s long-term future certainly looks promiing according to the study’s forecast, with revenues predicted to surpass £30 billion in just over a decade.
