The Masters

The 2014 Masters was held in Augusta from April 10 through April 13.  When it was all over University of Georgia grad Bubba Watson held of a rookie challenger Jordan Spieth and Swede Jonas Blixt who tied for second three strokes back.  Speith had been up by two strokes on the front nine Sunday but had major problems on holes 8 and 12 and never recovered.

Follow up:

In absence of four-time winner Tiger Woods, who is currently recovering from back surgery for a pinched nerve, last year's champion Adam Scott and the recently reinvigorated former world no. 1 Rory McIlroy were among the favorites to win the green jacket this year.  When it was all over Sunday afternoon the 2012 champion, Bubba Watson, won again.
