Silver prices have been steadily increasing since the turn of the century. This infographic explores the events — including increase demand and dwindling supply — that could be leading to this phenomenon.

Silver’s demand is increasing for two reasons: increased usage in high tech electronics and speculators eating up supply. In fact, it’s theorized that silver may be more valuable than gold in the near future.
