Econintersect: University of Missouri Kansas City Associate Professor of Economics and Law William K. Black (pictured) was scheduled to testify before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee this morning. The title of the hearing is “Examining Lending Discrimination Practices and Foreclosure Abuses.”
Prof. Black has informed Econintersect that his testimony would focus on the failure to prosecute the elites. He has written volumes on this topic and some of that work has been posted by Global Economic Intersection. (See References.)
The invitation to Prof. Black to testify is shown below:
Econintersect will report further on the testimony, Q&A and reactions to what Prof. Black had to say as information becomes available. The C-Span channels available to Econintersect did not broadcast the hearing.
