Blogger USA Market Sentiment Improves - So Do the Markets

Econintersect:  Does sentiment drive the markets or does the markets drive sentiment?  Ticker Sense's 23 January blogger sentiment poll "improved" from 40.74% bullish the previous week to 46.43% this week.

The Ticker Sense Blogger Sentiment Poll is a survey of the web's most prominent investment bloggers, asking "What is your outlook on the S&P 500 for the next 30 days?"

The S&P500 has advanced 4% in the last 30 days.

Follow up:

Econintersect's has two participants in this poll, and one is neutral, and the other negative.  Econintersect is concerned over the low volumes in the market - likely fueled by the simmering Euro crisis.

Thanks GEI. That is a much improved and helpful way in which to view TickerSense's Poll. Hopefully you will continue to post these weekly comparisons in the future, hopefully in the same "array" as you are showing here, and hopefully with as many as perhaps a dozen weeks involved. This is a terrific graphic, making it even easier to make quick comparisons than can be done on Ticker's own website. Great job!
