Far East Stocks Mostly Up in Early Trading Monday

Econintersect:  Seoul is down 0.8% in trading Monday morning (April 4), but the other ten major markets in the Asia/Pacific region are advancing.  Shanghai, which was the only market in the far east to be down last week (-0.4%), is the strongest this morning (+1.3%).  Hong Kong is also ahead by more than 1%.

Follow up:

Sydney (+0.8%), Tokyo (+0.6%) and both Mumbai (Bombay) and Singapore, which are up 0.4%, are also strong.  Taiwan, New Zealand, Malaysia and Indonesia are all ahead by 0.1% to 0.2%.
