All Far East Stock Markets Advance for the Week

Econintersect:  All eleven major Asia/Pacific stock markets had gains for the week but seven of the eleven were still in negative territory for 2011.  The year-to-date results in the far east in 2011 so far have trailed those in Europe where seven of ten stock markets are now up for 2011. Six markets were up more than 3% for the week, led by Mumbai (+5.2%) and Singapore (+4.6%).  The laggard was Malaysia which was up only 0.8%.  The total data foer the week:
