Econintersect: Asia/Pacific stocks are mostly showing gains in Wednesday morning trading (March 23). Two markets are in the red. Tokyo is off by 1% (after a gain of 16.8% in five days) and Hong Kong is down by 0.2%. Mumbai (Bombay) is bouncing back and forth around unchanged. The other eight major markets are all in the black.Shanghai is the strongest market with an advance of 0.8%. Singapore is also doing well (+0.5%) and Jakarta is up by 0.3%. The other six markets are all showing modest gains of 0.1% to 0.2%.
