Far East Stocks Open Strongly Monday Morning

Econintersect:  Early trading Monday morning see all stock markets except Shanghai trading higher.  The leaders are Tokyo (+2.7%) and Hong Kong (+1.2%).  Singapore, Seoul and Taiwan are also strong, each ahead by 0.9%.  Shanghai is slightly to the downside at 0.1%.

Follow up:

Mumbai (Bombay) surged ahead by more than 1% right after the open but within minutes settled back to +0.6%.  Other markets were ahead between 0.1% and 0.4%.
