World Stocks Swam in Red Ink Last Week

International Trade 57131757 Econintersect:  Of the thirty global indexes followed by GEI, only the Dow Transports and Utilities, rallying later in the week as oil prices settled back, managed to show gains.  One of the most notable changes in the YTD rankings was Canada's drop from second the week before to tenth ranking last week.  The following two graphs show the ranking of returns for the week and rankings YTD.  Exactly half of the indexes now have losses for 2011.
