Far East Stocks Uncertain Wednesday

Econintersect:  Asia/Pacific stock markets are split in midday trading Wednesday.  Six are up and five are down, with all changes less than 1%.  The leading gainer is Tokyo (+0.6%) and the the biggest loser is Sydney (-0.8%).

Follow up:

Four markets are essentilly flat at +/-0.04%:  Shanghai, Jakarta, Seoul and Taiwan.  Significant advances are found in Hong Kong (+0.5%) and Malaysia (+0.4%).  Singapore and Mumbai (Bombay) are each down 0.4%.
