March 7th, 2011
in econ_news

Econintersect:  No major markets lost as much as 1% and both Stockholm (+0.6%) and Vienna (+0.2%) finished with gains, but there is no way to describe Monday March 7 other than as a down day.  Eight of the ten major markets followed by GEI finished in the red and four by 0.5% or more.

Follow up:

The leaders on the dowside were Brussels (-0.8%) and Paris(0.7%), followed by Amsterdam and Geneva, which lost 0.5% each.  Oslo lost 0.4%, London 0.3%, Frankfurt 0.2% and Madrid 0.1%.
