Econintersect:  The Mumbai (Bombay) stock exchange is closed Wednesday (March 2) and that is a good thing.  It gets to savor its record 600 + point (3.5%) advance Tuesday for at least one more day.  All the other Asia/Pacific markets are open and trading down on Wednesday.

Follow up:

The leaders to the downside are Tokyo (-2.3%), Hong Kong (-1.8%) and Taiwan (-1.1%).  Seoul and Singapore are both down 0.9%, while Shanghai and Indonesia indexes are both lower by 0.8%.
