European Stocks Lose Ground

Econintersect:  Geneva and Brussels eked out gains of less that 0.1%, but the rest of the major European bourses were down Tuesday (March 1).  London and Paris indexes were both down by 1% to lead the parade lower.

Follow up:

Other significant losses were Franfurt (-0.9%), Vienna (-0.7%), Stockholm (-0.6%) and Oslom (-0.5%).  Amsterdam closed down less than 0.1%.
