February 28th, 2011
in econ_news

Econintersect:  Only Seoul and New Zealand markets are not rallying in the Far East - both markets are closed.  Singapore (+1.6%), and Taiwan and Mumbai (both up 1.4%) are leading the charge.  Tokyo (+1%) and Shanghai (+0.6%) are also strong.

Follow up:

Other gainers are Malaysia, +0.4%, Sydney +0.2% and Hong Kong +0.1%.  After a setback last week, all nine of the eleven major Asia/Pacific markets that are open Tuesday are having a reversal of fortune for the second day in a row.
