European Stocks Mostly Up Friday

Econintersect:  All European bourses were up Friday, except for Amsterdam which closed with a loss of 0.3%.  All gains were less than 1% except for Oslo, which gained 1.2%.  Geneva and London were next with gains of 0.8% and 0.7%, respectively.Many European markets were down in early trading, but rebounded after the Mubarak resignation was announced.

Follow up:

The bias for the week was decidedly positive.  Three markets (Madrid, Oslo and Stockholm) lost ground, but all were down by 0.5% or less.  Vienna, Amsterdam, Paris, Geneva and London all recorded gains of 1% or more for the week.
