European Stocks Mostly Negative Thursday

Econintersect:  Only three European bourses were higher Thursday, and all three had narrow gains.  Amsterdam was most in the green (+0.4%), while Frankfurt (+0.3%) and Paris (+0.1%) also closed higher.  Seven markets closed lower.

Follow up:

The biggest loser was Madrid (-1.4%).  Four markets had losses between 0.5% and 0.6%), Vienna, Brussels,Stockholm and London, while Geneva closed down 0.3%.

U.S. stocks closed with very small changes on both sides of unchanged for most indexes.
