European Markets Close Narrowly Lower Thursday

Econintersect:  Eight of ten major European bourses closed lower Thursday, all declines less than 0.8%.  The largest losses occurred in Oslo (-0.78%) and Paris was down 0.74%.

Follow up:

The two markets with gains were Stockholm (+0.5%) and Frankfurt (+0.1%).  The Stockholm advance came after a 3.5% decline between highs early last Friday and the opening yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
