Far East Markets mostly Positive on Tuesday

Econintersect:  Asia/Pacific stock markets seemed very insulated from the turmoil that has been shaking the world.  Nine of Eleven markets are up at midday, although modestly.  The two declining markets were Shanghai, barely down at -0.05% and Mumbai, -1%.

Follow up:

The biggest gainer was Jalarta, +0.9%, which had been down 10% since the beginning of the year and down 3% the two previous days.  All other advances were less than 0.5%.
