FOMC Meeting News – No Dissenters

Econintersect:  The news for the first FOMC meeting of 2011 is that there were no dissenting views.  The 2010 lone dissenter, Thomas M. Hoenig, the Kansas City Fed Chief, was rotated out in 2011.The release continued statements about slow economic recovery, low inflation expectations, elevated unemployment and contiuation of government securities purchases (QE2).
