Europe, Far East Markets Strong

Yahoo Finance:  Asia/Pacific stock markets are are mostly up mid-day Thursday, with Sydney, Jakarta and New Zealand all gaining more than 1%.  Only Mumbai (-0.5%) and Seoul (-0.4%) are in the red.

Follow up:

Europe closed up across the board Wednesday, led by Paris (+2.2%), both Frankfort and Brussels (+1.8%) and Vienna (+1.7%).
