Japan may Buy EU Debt

EU Business:  Japan may buy European debt to support the eurozone as the currency bloc faces ongoing concerns about debt and deficit levels in a number of members, a senior official said in Paris on Monday.

"It can be an option for us... it's too early to say," Vice Minister of Finance for International Affairs Rintaro Tamaki said when asked by journalists whether the option was on the table.

"You may see some efforts quite soon... maybe this week or next week. I would say this month," he said on the margins of a G20 round-table discussion.  Read more at EU Business.....
