New Delhi – December 14, 2010 (The Times of India): Chinese networking solutions firm Huawei Telecommunications (India) has said it will hire 1,000 employees for establishment of a new R&D campus in Bangalore.The company claimed in a press statement on Tuesday it will invest over $2 billion in a comprehensive five-year plan that involves ramping up its R&D employee strength to 3000 from the current 2000 in an existing R&D center outside of Bangalore. The announcement also said the company would “sew a number of business partnerships” in the country over next five years. The announced expansion will involve an investment of more than $2 billion.
